November 21, 2024, Eulogio Rodriguez Integrated School, Mandaluyong City

The Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong invited Rotary District 3800 DEI Chairperson PP Arabel Sarabia of Rotary Club of Pasig Sunrise, to give a talk on the importance of Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity. This was held on November 21, 2024, at the Eulogio Rodriguez Integrated School, Mandaluyong with senior high students (Grades 11 and 12) as participants.

Followed by the DEI Talk was a written and oratorical competition for senior high school students. Such competition can serve as an educational platform, raising awareness about the importance of DEI among young people who may not have been exposed to these concepts.

Writing and speaking about DEI topics require participants to think critically about DEI. It encourages them to express their thoughts, experiences and ideas.

Participants were given a topic about DEI to write on followed by an oral presentation of their essay. 13 participants joined the competition.
