On May 5, 2025, at around 11:56 am, a fire incident occurred at Ermin Garcia St., Brgy. E. Rodriguez, Sr. Quezon City. A total of 161 houses with 333 families or 1, 332 persons were affected and displaced.

To assist and provide assistance to the fire victims, the Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong and other Rotary Clubs in Mandaluyong, Caloocan, Rizal, Pasig and San Juan joined the project led by Rotary Club of Greater Mandaluyong “Lingap Handog: Bayanihan Para Sa Nasunugan” held on May 10, 2025 at Carlos P. Garcia High School, Brgy. E. Rodriguez, Cubao, Qiezon City. Food, water and clothing were provided to 300 families.

Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong Irresistible President Joan Marie C. Tejada joined the relief operations.
