Empowering Women as Leaders of Social Change

The Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong organized a special lecture on the rights of women and the importance of  empowering women as leaders of social change held on March 15, 2025,  at Barangay Addition Hills Barangay Hall, Mandaluyong City. 100 participants attended the lecture.

Assistant Solicitor General Arleen T. Reyes, RCTM Club Service Project Director, discussed the rights of women and related laws as well as the importance of empowering women as leaders of social change.

Empowering women as leaders of social change involves addressing systemic barriers and providing opportunities for women to lead in various areas, including politics, economics, and social activism. This can be achieved through education, mentorship, leadership development, and addressing biases. When women are empowered, they become agents of positive change, driving economic growth, fostering healthier communities, and promoting innovation.
