The Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong organized a transformative service project on September 21, 2024, aimed at empowering more than 200 senior citizens of Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City.

Rotarian Arleen T. Reyes, a government lawyer by profession, delivered an inspiring talk on the importance of senior citizens’ rights focusing on ensuring their well-being and dignity.

The Senior Citizen Law or RA 7432 is important (a) to motivate and encourage the Senior citizens to contribute to nation building; and (b) to encourage their families and the communities they live with to reaffirm the valued Filipino tradition of caring for the senior citizens.
