Charter President’s Message

Dear Rotarians and Friends of Rotary,

As we embark on another Rotary year, we are reminded of the importance of unity, service, and leadership in making a meaningful impact in our communities. The month of July has been filled with activities that not only exemplify our commitment to service above self but also highlight the vibrancy and dedication of our District, Zone, and Club.

Our district kicked off with significant events such as the Grants Management Stewardship and the Rotary Magic in Tanay, both of which underscored our dedication to fostering sustainable projects and celebrating our shared goals. The Rotary International District 3800 Handover and Induction at the Manila Hotel marked a pivotal moment as we welcomed new leaders and renewed our collective resolve to serve. Additionally, the Membership Seminar at Club Filipino served as a vital platform for reinforcing our growth and the Rotary spirit within our community.  

At the zone level, the “Wheels of Hope” initiative on July 11th was a poignant reminder of the power of collective action. Through this effort, we were able to extend the gift of mobility to senior citizens with disabilities, offering them not just wheelchairs but also hope and dignity.

Our club, the Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong, has also been vibrant and proactive. Our first regular meeting on July 10th set the tone for the year ahead, while the Movie Block screening on July 26th provided a perfect blend of fellowship and fun.
I am particularly proud of the series of impactful service projects we undertook on July 20th. From the Brigada Eskwela initiatives at Malibu’s na Kapaligiran and Highway Hills Integrated School, to Oplan Balik Eskwela, and the Batang Busog, Batang Malusog seminar, we have touched lives and strengthened our community. The Safe and Peaceful Cyberspace seminar, along with our focus on strengthening youth leadership, reflects our commitment to building a safer and more empowered future for the next generation.

As we look forward to the months ahead, I am confident that our collective efforts will continue to ignite change and inspire others. Let us keep the Rotary flame burning bright as we work together to build a better world, one project at a time.
