The Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong led by its Irresistible President Joan Marie C. Tejada , together with Club DEI Officer Christian “Yan” Cambe participated in the Zone 8 Mandaluyong Rotary Clubs Kick Off Project, “Wheels of Hope” held on July 7, 2024, in Mandaluyong City.

15 wheelchairs from the 15 Rotary Clubs were distributed to 15 indigent seniors with disabilities who are residents of Mandaluyong City.

P Joan and Rtn Yan together with two IP Presidents visited and personally delivered the wheelchairs to Luisa Tomas and Rolando Pangilinan of Barangay Mabini J. Rizal. Both suffered a stroke.

Indeed, the wheelchairs will be of great help in their daily mobility
